Americans turned out in record numbers (largest percentage of eligible voters since 1908) to speak up for change in America yesterday. My thanks to all who took the time to make their voices heard.
In the words of the late President Gerald Ford, "My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over." And while it might be a cloudy day in Connecticut today, the sun is shining all over this great nation of ours. And the American beacon of hope, freedom and leadership is once again shining brightly all over the world.

I think President Ford would be angry if he knew Bush bashers like yourself used his famous quote to continue your assault on our president.
You know...the president doesn't have ultimate power. Narrow-minded people like yourself forget we've had a Democratic Congress for years. They're just as to blame, and possibly even more, than Bush.
